I Am A Storyteller
All my life I've loved telling stories. Music was my first love - then it was theatre, then it was writing, then video editing, then creating in TTRPG spaces, and so it continues! Humans have been telling stories for millennia, using them not only to connect with their communities but also to make sense of the vastness of the universe around them and within them. I am never happier than when I am a part of that process of passing on knowledge, holding a mirror to society, or simply entertaining my friends and family. We are such stuff as dreams are made on, after all.
What I am all about!
Creation
Whether it be on a stage, in a Word document, or with my friends in a game, creation is at the heart of everything I love and everything I do. My passion is crafting stories that delight, that challenge, that change. My Musical Theatre background informs my vocal work - whether it be soft and raspy or resonant and commanding, it is always healthily supported. My training also informs my writing, no matter what genre or media I'm creating for.
Communication
Clear communication is at the heart of any successful business relationship, creative or otherwise. I make it a goal of mine in any project I undertake. It is important to me that, no matter where we are in the creative process, we are on the same page.
Collaboration
One of my favorite facets of performing in a theatre or TTRPG setting is collaborating with other amazing creatives. This industry is full of so many amazing and incredible people, and I have had the honor of working with many in my life. There is truly some magic that can be made when people work together to create something fantastic!
